new purple bento box

This bento features a couple of new and colorful bento items just added to my collection: the purple box was found in the stationary/school supplies section of a local shop. I saw the vibrant violet shade and thought "bento"!

The floral chopsticks in silky green bag were found this weekend at a store with the evocative name Dollar Ocean. It's so fun to be on a bento treasure hunt when out and about...where have you had luck finding bento gear in unusual places?

For lunch: crab salad with scallion and garlic buds in avocado half, snow pea leaves, spicy sprouts and mache, and for dessert, pineapple and Indian sweets in hot pink and saffron yellow.

Have a lovely Tuesday!

Me too, we have tons of those boxes all over the house, and not once have a ever thought to use it for bento !
I love camellia, and really wish I still had my first tree, so precious and delicate.
Your bento is deliciously fresh and healthful, making me anticipate new greens sprouting from the garden! Enjoy!

Your bento always have so much green in them! Always lovely. :)

I love finding little bento treasures while out and about, and my mom always keeps an eye out for me, too. She found cute bunny cupcake holders and food picks at K-Mart, and they're perfect for Easter season bento!

again a wonderful bento and great idea for using those boxes for bento. I have a similar red one and also never used it as a bento. I think I have to give it a try! Thanks for sharing!
