pizza heart bento

Happy Thursday! Getting into the February Valentine's theme in today's bento with a heart shaped piece of our fav pizza (marscarpone, smoked ham, arugula), romaine lettuce with orange-infused olive oil and baby yellow tomatoes.

Butter sauteed asparagus, red grapefruit and blueberries round out lunch. Enjoying the breezy thaw here today, spring does not feel so far off...

Mmm, I can't wait for asparagus. I'm done with winter (even though ours was extremely mild). I love this little bento, dreaming of spring...

Hi Michelle! I've been keeping up with SR Farmer's Market doings through the Press-Democrat (and your blog!), some nice veggies...but YES, let's have spring soon please! Have a great rest of the day, friend :)

So sweet and delightful. Daffodils are one of my most favorite flowers and your photo brightens my day. Very cheery my friend!

I am afraid Punxsutawney Phil tell us "Six more weeks of winter!" I guess we better enjoy the sun while we can.
Happy week!

Lovely! Heart shaped pizza is not bad at all. On special days like this, I also use some good looking bento boxes I have mine which I bought from www.katachiware.com.au and they're lovely and makes the meal more special.
