Oh I love the picture of the artichoke! I tried growing artichoke once, it wasn't successful but your picture makes me want to take a fresh stab at it ^.^
Thanks Miss M.! I planted this last fall and was happily surprised when it developed these chokes :) I decided not to harvest in return for the crazy beautiful purple flower centers they develop...need to take a new pic...
