Hi bento pals! Sorry for not posting for a while, I've been a little under the weather recently. Speaking of weather, the last few days have brought an incredible amount of drenching rain to our area.
On this wet and gray afternoon, I used a lovely b-day gift from my mom--a panini maker--to make turkey kielbasa, sliced green fig, radicchio and provolone panini sandwiches. They were oh so good! It will be fun to try other melty, savory, toasty combinations with this great device...any suggestions?
Wishing you a relaxing and fun upcoming weekend!
Oh so sorry you've been not only having bad weather but under the weather to boot! Hope you are on the mend and what better way to say, "I feel human again!" than a melty yummy panini. What a nice Mom :D Take care Jenn.
ReplyDeleteThanks, sweet Robin! Hope all is well with you and happy weekend, I so enjoyed your recent post on baking and memories...
ReplyDeletehmm.. nice looking Panini..stay indoor with a not cuppa coffee will be nice for the wet weather..

ReplyDeleteI love simple panini with peanut butter but your panini looks great Jenn! I hope you are feeling better soon and rest well this weekend. Take care Jenn! (^.^)
ReplyDeleteHi Bobo! Good idea...coziness and warm drinks sound like just the ticket this weekend. Thanks for your visit, dear!
ReplyDeleteHi Sheri! Thanks for your sweet comments...happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Lia! Thanks so much. I like the idea of trying sweet paninis, peanut butter sounds great, maybe melted dark chocolate? Have a lovely weekend...
ReplyDeleteI hope that you feel better soon. Now I'm craving paninis though. If you want dessert paninis - you could always use brie cheese and dark chocolate, or even bananas and nutella could be in the mix. :)
ReplyDeleteHello there Aiko Venus! Mmmmm, great suggestions...think its time to make some dessert paninis :D
ReplyDeleteWow - the panini looks scrummy - what a great present!
ReplyDeleteHi Lexi, thanks! The only problem is that it makes the siren song of carbs that much harder to resist!
