wow, that pastry sounds amazing, such a tasty combination of ingredients in the filling! i love that your take on st. patrick's day is about the ingredients and not just the color green. great flower shots, too -- spring really IS poking its head out for a look... hope it stays a while :-)
I love this phrase: "spring really IS poking is head out for a look"! Yes indeed, perhaps through the eyes of baby flowers! Doing this st patty's bento reminded me how good fresh cabbage can be! Thanks so much for your visit and great comments, gamene :)
It's a beautiful day here too, spring is coming! Adore the first photo with the iris, and your pastry sounds yum!
So glad to hear it, Lexi! Yes, "spring is coming", and today it felt fully arrived and melted the last snow away--hooray! I always enjoy your thoughtful comments--thanks so much!
great iris pic, another fav flower of mine :) good work on the shamrock too.
Mmm... tantalizing! Love the shamrock detail on the pastry.
Look how spring is peeking into your world! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

--can't wait to see the bearded and Japanese varieties emerge! Thanks for sharing your very nice comments here :)
Hiya Debra! Yes, it's really coming! I've been in a winter-sad slumber for sooo long, today felt just amazing. Happy St Patrick's day and congrats on the very cool shamrock bento!
That baby lamb is so sweet, and your pot of irises is fantastic! I wish we could have bulbs here. I do have little tulips, but I don't bother to dig up and cool, so they are not dependable.I know how it feels to see the blossoms open up, though! I am right there with you on the excitement of spring! Lovely!
The pastry is awesome! Oh my you show us some great pictures again. Love the shamrock hanging on the door and the black cat looks elegant hehehe ... Beautiful flowers are the signature from you :)
Ohhh!! I LOVE all photos! I feel like I'm looking at beautiful photography books.
