friday shokado bento
It's finally Friday! Shokado style bento with some light bites: fish roasted with Meyer lemon and capers, quinoa with avocado, spicy baby greens and a juicy apple.
Just beautiful! Your bentos seem like art. I love the flowers. What tree is it from? Your portions are so pretty, but so tiny,am always wondeirng how they can possibly enough for you. Your Shokado is gorgeous!
So kind of you, Saffron and C.! The pink flowers are from a quince tree on our property...blooming in one of my favorite colors. This was a light bento for sure but was energizing...happy bentoing this week as spring comes ever closer!
Your bentos are always a ray of sunshine for me (as I'm buried in snow up in QC!). I love the little dishes in each section of the box. Lovely as always, Jenn! ^_^

ReplyDeleteYour pictures are really like art! Love them!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: What is a "Meyer lemon"?
Love from Holland (I won't send you our snow, hail and rain!)
