Happy Friday! Lunch is a bento of gingery baby bok choy prepared with a wonderful recipe from the Steamy Kitchen. The baby bok choy is layered over brown rice and accompanies ginger-scallion crab salad and avocado. For a sweet finish, ripe raspberries and cute little strawberry candies from Meiji:

ReplyDeleteHi Jenn, sometimes I play with rice wine vinegar and bacon with these sweet babies. Sesame seeds too, ohh how about baby leaves, blanched just a little then stuffed with a walnut, rice, cream cheese something... there you go sending me off into crazy cooking again! Cheers friend ;D

ReplyDeleteLove baby bok choy although sometimes is hard to get them in the market here. But we still can get regular bok choy that always available around the year. Super delicious bento that you made here Jenn! My kids will definitely say yes to those cute candies :)
