grilled shrimp bento with pastel sweets

Grilled shrimp, basil and rice partner with pastel malted eggs, a bunny jelly and smooth, sweet green Vietnamese dessert Banh Da Lon in this Easter-influenced bento for Monday's lunch. This is the first outing for my new magewappa bento box...quite fun to work (play!) with.
I love these pink Clickity Click chopsticks!

Looking forward to your spring inspirations this week, bento friends!

  5. If every Monday could be like this... I wouldn't have a problem with starting the week! :) It's absolutely gorgeous.

I've had my eye on such a wooden bento box for a while now but I could *never* compile such a beautiful lunch, whatever the box!

These pastel colors did help brighten a misty, drizzly Monday...I hope you will jump in the magewappa pool, gnoegnoe--I'm in love with this new box and I'll bet you'd enjoy one, too! This one was found via J-List and was not super-spendy :)
